Right beside the cathedral is a small and cozy coffee shop that’s definitely worth stopping by. It may be a simple spot, but it offers a welcoming vibe that makes it a great place to relax after visiting the cathedral. One of their must-try drinks is the matcha, which is rich, smooth, and perfectly balanced — definitely a standout on their menu. They also have a good selection of pastries to pair with your drink. Although I was hoping to see my personal favorite, the cinnamon roll, it wasn’t available. Hopefully, they can add it to their list in the future since it would be a perfect match for their drinks. I’ve been to this shop multiple times, and one thing consistent is how refreshingly cold the air-conditioning is inside. It creates a relaxing and comfortable environment, especially on warm days. For those who prefer the outdoors, they also have al fresco tables where you can enjoy your coffee while taking in the view of the cathedral and the surrounding atmosphere. Overall, this little café is a gem. With its good drinks, tasty pastries, and relaxing ambiance, it’s the kind of place you’ll want to visit again and again — whether for a quick coffee break or a slow, peaceful afternoon.

Stopped by Belfry Café in Intramuros and it turned out to be a lovely little gem. The coolest part? You’re having your coffee right under massive old church bells, pretty surreal and charming. The café has a cozy setup with both indoor and outdoor seating, perfect for a relaxed break while exploring the old city. I had an iced coffee and a garlic cream cheese bun, simple but hit the spot. The staff were welcoming, and the atmosphere blends historic charm with modern comfort. Definitely worth a stop if you're strolling around the cathedral area!

Really cute and unique cafe located literally under a massive church bell. Drinks and pastries. We only tried the drinks and they were delicious. Nice stop to sit down and observe life moving past in the historic location of Intramuros.

This is an incredibly conveniently located and well air-conditioned little cafe right next to the heart of the intramuros district in Manila. There are an incredible abundance of options for you to choose from and the service is very friendly with excellent English. This is a great place to stop for a break if you have been walking around intramuros all day and need a quick little pick me up before moving on to your next location.

2nd time here. Food is ok but coffee was not really.that great . It tasted like it is diluted. But this store being next to the Manila Cathedral, makes it worth to visit .

08/02/25. Quiet drinks under Gigantic Bells! Among the handful of photogenic cafes in Intramuros, Belfry Cafe is my favorite despite its petite size. In 2011, the Cathedral's bells were moved to the ground level. This is to prevent the bell tower from collapsing similar to past Belfry due to earthquakes. The bells can now be seen up close to admire the fine details. GOOD: 1. In door dining is a cool respite from the Manila heat. 2. Quick service. 3. Gorgeous ceiling due to the bells of course. COULD BE IMPROVED: 1. Meals are only available in microwaveable containers for reheating so we chose not dine and just order cold drinks. So only ⭐⭐⭐ for food. Will come back...but avoid Angelus and Pre-mass for a silent meal.

Enjoyed my quick coffee stop here. The cafe is quaint and nice. There are bells overhead hence the name belfry. Decent coffee. Best of all, it was very cool inside. Perfect escape from Manila’s intense summer heat.
